Abnel Hernández is an architect who graduated from the Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico. Mr. Hernandez was given two major awards for his work of research titled "Post-Industrial Ruins; the immediate past is intended to forget." That production was awarded several times for "Mejor Proyecto de Fin de Carrera del 2012" (Best Final Year Project 2012), first by the Puerto Rico’s Architect’s and Landscape Architect’s Guild. Subsequently, the proposal received the AIA Honor Award in 2012 by the American Institute of Architecture as a project of great impact.

 

During his time of study he found a passion for photography and video. He was able to integrate his knowledge of Architecture with video and photography evolving to great masterpieces.

 

He currently works as an architect for an architectural firm and he is also a videographer, editor and director for different music videos projects through Abjoh Films™.

"It's very clear the challenges we face in these times. But at the same time, economic hardships induces and promotes creativity, generates diversification in space and artistic forums."
